Available Positions
Postdoctoral positions available to study the role of lipids as specific ligands to regulate protein function. Projects include the molecular characterization of novel phospholipases, and the physiological characterization of genetically modified mice. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in hormonal signal transduction and will have some prior experience in one or more of the following areas; cell biology, protein biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or mouse genetics. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or M.D. degree. The lab is in a new research building housed within the confines of an Endowed Cardiovascular Research Institute at Northwestern University Medical School. Located in downtown Chicago 2 blocks east of the "Magnificent Mile". Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
